En lättläst chicklit-bok om en kvinna, Katie, som desperat längtar efter barn, men vars man ständigt skjuter det på framtiden eftersom han i själva verket inte alls vill ha barn. Hon får möjligheten att försörja sig som baby planner, dvs hon hjälper blivande mammor att hitta de bästa bebisprylarna som finns - sånt man inte ens visste att man ville ha eller behövde. Hon hjälper blivande föräldrar med allt från färg i barnkammaren, kläder och leksaker till au pair service, skolor osv. Väldigt amerikanskt! Det är som sagt en lättläst bok som rör sig runt ämnena familjer och familjekonsteallationer.
